Hi, nice to meet you again :D
Today, I'm here to explain our final team project!
Our topic is a 'health'.
We just wondered how students in Hanyang University care about their health.
So, we planned to survey some students with the questionnaire related to health
then interview some random students in campus about health.
Questions will divided into two groups, 'food' and 'exercise'.
The reason we divided like that was because those two categories well indicate the health status.
Questions will be simple, such as 'how many times do you exercise in one week?'.
Interview will not take a long time. We are planning to interview many students with short clips
so that we can collect various answers from various students.
After all researches from survey and interview, we will make a statistics about it
so that everyone can easily check the results from our data. That will be put in video
as a picture form.
We made questionnaire all together. And other tasks to do were divided into 4 pieces,
surveying, filming videos, interviewing and editing. Among those jobs,
I'm in charge of taking interview in my group.
So, I have to practice and prepare for interviewing a strangers. It gives me little nervous
but I feel it would be also great experience.

Today, I made a short video introducing my campus with some pictures.
Those pictures are places located in my campus.
I took all those pictures with my cellphone.
I explained some special meanings and my expressions about those places and facilities.

About the Mars One Project
<
What is Mars One Project?>
Have
you seen the movie ‘Interstellar’? I remember that I watched it very interestingly. The story of
Interstellar is that the humanity is trying to find a new planet to live
instead of the Earth which is desolated by food deprivation and polluted air. We
all know that we cannot live in the Earth for eternally. Some time at the
future, we must get out of where we live today. Mars One Project is the first
try of humanity to settle in outer space.
Mars
One Project first suggested by Bas Lansdrop, the entrepreneur of Netherland.
With his co-worker, Arno Wielders, Bas Lansdrop set up the foundation in 2011 to
begin this project. They discussed the possibility and technological validity
with several aerospace agencies and experts. After that, they completed to draw
the road map for this enormous plan.
<Introducing video of Mars One Project>
<Roadmap of Mars One Project>
This
infographic shows the total road map of Mars One Project. First, they plan to
put the amount of water and food. Then, Rover, the robot that will sent to the
Mars, will investigate the place where condition is optimum for human
surviving. Rover will also build the base camp before humans come to Mars, so
that people can come to Mars and live. About 2022, the first ‘Martians’ will be sent to the
Mars, arriving there after 6 months. In 2025, more settlers will arrive at Mars
and make a new society. Mars One Project will last over and over after all
steps are finished, by continuing all these steps as additional crew land every
two years.
<Future basecamp picture of the Mars>
<Information about robots, basecamp, and rockets>
In February
17th, 2015, Mars One selected 100 nominees of Martians. They are
composed with 50 men and 50 women, and various aged from 20s to 60s. 39 of them
came from America, 31 from Europe, 16 from Asia, and each 7 from Africa and
Oceania. After several training in the area that is similar to the Mars. Then,
Mars One plans to select 24 final nominees as a settler of Mars.
<Interview with nominees>
For more information, use this link to get
more information. It is the homepage of Mars One.
<What
can we get from Mars One Project>
Mars One Project can provide
us some advantages. First, we can solve overflowing population problems by
pioneering new lands in the Mars. Second, we can use the astronomical amount of
resources stored in Mars. Scientists anticipate that various kinds of resources
that are significant to the human are buried in the Mars. Lastly, human can use
the Mars as a great place to study space. The Mars is pretty different to the
Earth, so the experiments and researches in the Mars can give us the chance to develop
science knowledge and technology.
<Problem
of Mars One Project>
Nevertheless of these advantages of pioneer
Mars, there are several problems of this project. First, the selected nominees
sent to the Mars are not allowed to come back to the Earth forever. This could
be a severe abuse of human right. So, many human right groups are opposing to
Mars One Project. Second, our technologies are so far to pioneer the Mars yet.
Although Mars One insists that they have enough technologies to do the project,
many experts evaluate that human are lack of technologies to settle in outer
space. This means, if the project failed and serious problems such as polluting
of the Mars occurred, we have no idea to handle those problems. Lastly, the
foundation still has not enough money to continue this project. Last year, Landrop
declared the delay of Mars One project due to the financial problems. Can they
collect enough money to complete this project in right time?
<My
Opinion about Mars One Project>
In My
opinion, the advantages of Mars One Project are bigger than the problems, and
this project must be continued until it successfully completed. Now, I will
express several reasons why I agree to this project. First of all, the Mars
must be pioneered someday. We cannot just give up discovering outer space. Even
it requires us sacrifice, we must do that as a human. Secondary, we can have
tremendous resources from the Mars. As mentioned, there are super immense
amount of metals and energy resources. If we discover the Mars, we could find
even more resources. These resources from the Mars will become the engine to
the development of economy and human society. Third, about the human right
abusing issue, nominees for the project already agreed to admit the risks they
will confront during project. It means, they know there will be hardships and
they promised not to regard it as right abusing. So, I think that the human
right abusing problems cannot be stand in this case. Lastly, lack of technology
will be solved during the project is processing, because human will continue to
discover more and more technologies.
My
recommendation about this topic is that we must have an interests and positive
considerations toward discovering the Mars. Of course, it is quite difficult to
us to do something for this topic, because we are not scientists or astronauts.
However, if we get a continuous interest and support this, it will help
humanity to discover the unknown world and to be developed.

(1 Topic 2 Purposes, Topic: Ramen)Ramen intaking must be regulated (Evaluative)
Most people know that ramen is unhealthy food because its salt and fat.
However, so many people eat ramen so often that ramen can harm their health seriously.
The materials that make ramen unhealthy is sodium and saturated fat.
According to the research of Korea Consumer Agency(KCA), so much sodium and saturated fat
were included in ramen. Averagely, 51.3% saturated fat and 86.5% sodium of daily nutrition standard
were contained in just one pack of ramen. While daily nutrition standard sets 2000mg sodium
and 15g saturated fat as daily limit of intake, average 1729mg sodium and 7.7g saturated fat were
contained in one pack. This means, if somone intake more than two packs of ramen in one day,
his health can seriously damaged by ramen. KCA says that ramen manufacturing companies must
reduce the amount of sodium and sturated fat, and use more unsaturated fat.
I think what KCA said is necessary, but it is not realistic because companies will not follow
this advice. If they reduce the amount of sodium and saturated fat as KCA advised, their ramens
will become less tasty, which will lead to decrease of consumers. Rather, I think consumers must
control their intakes. Although ramen has so much sodium and saturated fat, it will not a problem
if we eat ramen less than before.

Universities in Seoul
The topic of our infogram is "Universities in Seoul". It shows several informations about universities located in Seoul. This will become a navigator for someone who wants to visit those universities in Seoul. First, we chose to use bullentin board design as background. Since this infogram informs about universities, we tried to make readers feel a mood of university by using bulletin board design which frequently used in universities. Meanwhile, there's no special meanings at each colors of universities, because not many universities select their own color. So we put colors randomly. What we considered at color part was that each colors should not be overlapped. Based on the rainbow colors, we chose 10 different colors that does not really stack each others. Also, we put gradation effects in information boxes. Gradation effects make colors less thick and more bright, and that matches to the atmosphere of universities which filled with brightness and energy. If you want more informations about universities in Seoul, visit here and get more detailed informations.
